Video & download: Making conditioners (from Facebook Live)

I’m so happy to share this video with you I did as a Facebook Live demonstration for the Handcrafted Soap & Cosmetic Guild on December 27th, 2017. It’s unedited and runs 80 minutes, but I think it’s chock full of interesting information about hair care products as well as a demo on making conditioners and me staring awkwardly at the camera and making faces. I definitely talk way too much, but it’s hard not to when I love this topic so very much!

There’s a second video I’ll post shortly showing you the final viscosity of the product. It’s less than 30 seconds long. (Click here for that post…)

I know this might seem a bit quiet to you. Let me know what you think!

There’s a handout you can download from this link to follow along.

The video is set to “private”, meaning the only way to see it is to click the link. I would like to keep this for Patreon subscribers only, so please don’t share it.

As a note, I’ll be presenting a workshop on making hair care products at the Handmade Bath & Body Guild’s conference in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in June. where the amazing Dr Joe Schwarcz will be the keynote, and you’ll hear from Kevin Dunn of Scientific Soapmaking, the amazing Ariane Arsenault along with Lela Barker, Charlene Simon, and Kerri Mixon. Health Canada will be attending, too.

I also offer classes on making hair care products at Voyageur Soap & Candle in Surrey, B.C. And this lovely e-book on the topic.

Questions, comments, suggestions? I’d love to hear your feedback about it and what I could do in future videos.
