Updates!

Hi everyone! I’m in the middle of the first of two duplications I hope to offer this month for Drunk Elephant’s Lala Retro™ Whipped Cream. This is a long one – I had to stop at 6,617 words as I’m getting kinda tired and the pain’s kicking in – as I can’t find some of the ingredients, so we have to think of some substitutions, and as we have to stop to talk about the HLB system and how we might calculate how much emulsifier we need to use.

As of today, most of the duplications from the Patreon feed are over here and you can find most of them in the Duplications from Patreon post in the resources part of the menu. If you find one and it’s not updated on that list, try searching for it in the search bar by title to see if it’s here, but not on that sheet yet. We are doing our best to update as many links as we can in the various links in the menu, but it’s a huge time sink, so Raymond and I are both doing it a little bit every day.

As a note, since we deleted the horrible Patreon plug in that kept failing in late March, we have not had one moment of down time on the blog! Woo! Raymond has put a wonderful system in place!

I should have had more done by today, but I’ve spent far too much time over the last two weeks dealing with this self-centered and entitled (bleep), Hamsa Ryuugan, who pirated my material because he was mad at me for asking him to respect my boundaries around using Facebook Messenger. He stole from my family and my youth programs, and expected me to apologize to him for being a “bitch” for setting those boundaries. He applied to PayPal, said he couldn’t access the e-books – we terminated his account for thievery – told PayPal I was threatening him, and they refunded his money without giving us a chance to respond!

As a result of this, two things:

  1. I won’t be responding to Facebook Messenger messages on the blog page. Please do not message me on my personal Facebook page if you don’t know me in real life or if we haven’t communicated that way before. I hate to sound harsh, but I need to have some boundaries in place so I can do the things I need to do in a day while continuing to heal from these muscle spasms.
  2. If you distribute any paid materials to people who aren’t subscribers here or haven’t paid for the work, if you post it on a public or pirate site, or if you sell it as your own work to make money for yourself, I will shut down your account and terminate your subscription without refund. I’m asking very little to subscribe to the blog. This is my full time job. You’re either taking money from my youth programs or from my family, and if you have any respect for what I do, please don’t pirate my work.

I am falling behind as I only have so much time I can use the computer in a day, and I have to focus on blog stuff with the other stuff when I can find the time, but I do what I can.

I know there will be some out there who agree with Hamsa, who think I’m a bitch for setting and maintaining boundaries around my time, especially as we head into week 18 of being bedridden, but I have learned the very very hard way that failing to maintain my boundaries means I push myself too much and that only ends up in pain, fatigue, and sadness.
