Someone asked about our privacy policy at Point of Interest, and it’s pretty simple: Only three people can access your data – the administrators (Raymond and Susan) and you.
We take the information required by the payment processor, like your name, address, phone number, and email address – and that’s used to create your account, which you use to access the site or buy additional e-books.
We don’t do anything with your information. We don’t sell it or use it for any purpose beyond you having an account. We only use your email address to send you notifications of purchases and receipts.
This is another one of the reasons we don’t take ads or use affiliate links. We don’t want you tracked all over the internet or your data sold.
We turned off ads on Disqus for the same reason, and you can click “don’t sell my data” with that service really easily. Or sign in as a guest.
Cookies are used to make logging in easier for you. That’s their only purpose.
To summarize, our privacy policy is super simple – we only ask for what’s necessary, your information stays here on the site, and you’re not tracked for visiting.
If you have questions, comments, suggestions, or anything else, please share your thoughts below or use the “contact me” email addresses.
